Job Purpose Reporting to the Chief Success Officer, the Senior Director, Services Strategy and Design will be responsible for crafting the company's strategy for curriculum implementation support at the district, school, and classroom level, across Great Mind's subjects. This role will have a deep understanding of high-quality curriculum implementation at all three levels and will create solutions for customers that can scale, can be done sustainably over time, and that help school and classroom leaders achieve gains in student learning. The Senior Director will work closely with leadership across the Success team including Implementation, Services Operations and Analytics, and Research.
This role will manage teams that create content and solutions for thousands of customers nationwide, as well as for training and supporting Great Minds coaches and customer success leads. Last, the Senior Director will manage the Great Minds Schools initiative, a series of school-based pilot implementations initiated for researching models of deep, long-term curriculum implementation alongside school leaders and classroom educators.
Responsibilities Develop long-term goals and strategy for Great Minds curriculum implementation, informed by market trends, insights, and learnings from key initiatives (i.e.: research, whole-school model) and aligned with company objectives. Identify and act on opportunities for service improvement and innovation, leveraging insights and learnings from research and Great Minds Schools initiatives. Lead cross-functional teams to develop new service concepts, championing the use of innovative methodologies in service design. Monitor the effectiveness of these new services and establish metrics to measure their impact on service quality. Develop content, processes, and resources to support the implementation of Great Minds curricula. Manage a complex team of service designers, strategists, and school leaders to execute the team strategy. Serve as an internal leader on issues of implementation and pedagogy, maintaining close relationships with internal and external partners, including Product, Sales, Marketing, Research, and Success teams. Routinely dialogue and learn from customers and other administrators and educators implementing Great Minds products. Actively learn the state of the implementation, curriculum, and adult learning fields, including deep understanding of the role of technologies in these areas. Manage a diverse team with multiple managers and levels, including content creators and business strategists. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience leading a strategic vision for adapting curricula across multiple levels of school systems. 5+ years of leading complex teams to execute this strategic vision. Proven experience successfully managing enterprises or teams in complex settings. Successfully achieved student learning gains across multiple levels of school systems, via roles within school systems or supporting school systems. Demonstrated history of achieving student progress over the course of a career, emphasizing the needs of students most in need of support. Ability to work in multiple sectors, transferring leadership and management skills across diverse settings to show adaptability to new and varied challenges. Demonstrated capacity to establish measurable goals, clear strategy, indicators of success, and systems for managing an improving team based on indicators. Required Education Bachelor's Degree
Location Remote (U.S.)
The expected base salary range for this position is $162,000-$197,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
