Job Title: Senior Distribution Manager
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 Annual Salary
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role:
The Sr. Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance of Din Tai Fung's external distribution centers and logistics throughout the network. As part of a Supply Chain team, the Sr. Distribution Manager will play a key role in executing our overall goal of ensuring that stores receive high-quality products that meet internal specifications, delivered on-time and accurately, and charged at the right price. This position will report to the SVP of Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor inventory levels at broadline distribution centers to ensure a consistent supply of products for our restaurants.
Host regular business reviews with our distribution partners to review service levels, align future planning, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
On-board and standardize new distribution centers to support future markets and growth.
Act as an intermediary between distribution centers and suppliers to help facilitate a speedy resolution to any shortages or delays on inbound purchase orders.
Establish the most efficient and competitive route-to-market for both existing and new markets.
Implement and manage systems for tracking distribution KPIs, including order fill rate, on-time delivery, damages, and quality-related issues.
Collaborate with the procurement team to manage supplier contracts and validate distributor invoice pricing accuracy.
Provide proactive communication to internal teams around out-of-stocks, substitutions, price changes, or updates to produce specifications.
Provide detailed volume forecasts to distributors to proactively account for changes in demand due to seasonality, menu changes, and new restaurant openings.
Streamline distribution operations in all territories (CA, NW, East Coast)
Support the logistics and distribution of DTF's internal manufacturing operation to help optimize transportation efficiency and reduce freight costs.
Partner with the sourcing team to identify and negotiate direct sourcing opportunities.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in food service distribution
Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office suite. Experience using third party supply chain technology platforms is preferred.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience managing relationships with a network of external vendors.
Project management experience is preferred.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
