Senior Financial Analyst

Position OverviewAs a Sr. Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team you will be responsible for supporting various monthly processes such as budgeting/forecasting, variance review, and the preparation of board/management reports. You will perform analysis influencing and guiding operational, financial, and strategic decisions for Diligent. You will work with cross functional teams to develop, implement, and regularly review financial reporting across all products and business units. The successful candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, comfort working for a global company operating in multiple regions and currencies, and the desire to help improve the financial performance of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the finance leadership on long-term financial planningPartner with operational specialists and build relationships within the business. Coordinate and execute analyses with cross-functional teams; build solutions, provide answers and think creativelyGain exposure to the company's most pressing challenges and strategic priorities, with an opportunity to drive outcomes through strategic analysisLook for ways to improve the accuracy and cadence of reporting through automation and developing new tools and reporting capabilitiesPerform complex analyses and lead special projects as required by leadership and cross-functional teams.Independently analyze and present operational strategies and financial performance against planRequired Experience/Skills:5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and/or budgeting in complex business environmentsStrong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with NetSuite, and OneStream (preferred)Ability to prioritize competing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environmentEffective project management skills; highly organized, independent, and self-motivatedMust have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of managementBS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldFLSA Status:Exempt
