The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insights, solutions, and decision support to internal Finance and business partners to drive the five-year strategic plan and financial stewardship goals. This role requires proactive analysis of the business, including operating metrics and financial activities. As the subject matter expert of financial activities for the given area served, this individual will be responsible to build collaborative relationships with internal customers and present financial materials that can be understood by non-financial customers. This individual leads the communication and timeline of internal financial processes (close, forecast, budget, etc.). The ideal candidate will also create ad hoc reports to support financial processes, special projects, and long-range plans. This individual assists the financial aspect of annual planning, forecasting and the monthly close process and ensures financially sounds business plans. In addition, being motivated to learn the business, challenge the status quo, and identify solutions to problems - while embracing a positive team culture focused on democratizing cellular therapy - will ensure success in this role. Finally, this individual will be a critical partner in decision making opportunities. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid


Check out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job Ever ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description: Primary responsibilities include owning our headcount governance processes and building out our contractor management process, reporting and analytics Responsible for compensation & benefits month-end variance analysis and commentary and forecast consolidation. Supports creation of monthly close, forecast materials and key stories as they relate to headcount governance and contractor management Additional Requirements: Strong reporting and modeling skills Previous experience developing financial process deliverables and timelines Ability to create financial summary materials in PowerPoint to clearly and concisely communicate key financial stores Interest and aptitude in financial systems to support improving financial processes Previous P&L consolidation experience preferred (minimum exposure to full P&L) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: Strong knowledge of current trends in Financial Planning and Analysis including complex financial modeling of P&L components and underlying business drivers. Build reporting packages and facilitate financial processes e.g., actuals variance analysis, forecast, budget, and 5-year plan Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office and ability to work within a financial system GAAP knowledge preferred Ability to: Analyze business strategies and their impact on financials to influence business decisions Connect area that you support to overall organizational business and financial strategies Aptitude to solve ambiguous problems with a proactive mindset and influence business partners Work in cross functional teams and have outstanding relationship building capabilities Meet deadlines and prioritize work Strong communication skills and ability to be understood by non-financial customers Desire to drive intentional, iterative improvement of finance capabilities Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or other related financial field. Minimum three years of financial planning and analysis, including revenue and/or expenses management responsibilities, complex modeling, and financial reporting Experience with Hyperion, OBIEE, Looker (or another data visualization tool) desired DEI COMMITMENT:
