Accountabilities: Drive Change and Make an ImpactKey Responsibilities and Duties: Design Leadership: Develop, refine, and review design packages for renewal schemes like drainage, signage, fencing, and VRS, aligning with asset management and client needs.Standards Shaping: Play a key role in the Change in Standards team, reviewing and implementing new standards to keep us ahead of industry changes.Quality and Compliance: Prepare CDM 2015 Principal Designer documentation, ensuring design quality and compliance with industry standards and the M25 DBFO Contract.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical specialists, commercial leads, and CPS teams to achieve project goals and milestones, building strong, collaborative relationships.Progress and Reporting: Manage progress updates, programme management, and reporting for assigned projects. Lead performance, technical, and commercial review meetings.Strategic Support: Provide essential information to the commercial team for accurate cost estimates and strategic decision-making.Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing enhancement of the Change in Standards process to ensure operational excellence.Standards Review: Review new standards and coordinate with National Highways to develop and implement effective strategies.Working Arrangements: Flexible Work Options: Enjoy remote working opportunities with the possibility of traveling to various offices and depots as needed.Travel Opportunities: Take advantage of the chance to visit different sites and offices, applying your expertise where it's needed most.Driving License: A full driving license is preferred but not essential; your skills and passion are what truly count.Who we are looking for? Location: This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we therefore expect a minimum of 60% of your time to be spent at a CPS offices.
