Senior Internal Auditor
Our Pacific Northwest client seeks an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to support their organization's internal auditing efforts.
This is a remote role requiring Pacific Time Zone hours of 9am-5pm PST. Senior Internal Auditor Responsibilities Perform audits to assess the accuracy of internal and partner financial reports, and assist with regulatory audits by agencies such as OHA and NAIC.Write and execute audit programs independently, prepare work papers and reports, and recommend improvements for identified deficiencies.Evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and assist external auditors and compliance officers during site audits.Assist with month-end financial close, special projects, and process improvements while serving as a technical resource to finance staff.Ensure adherence to organizational policies, support equity and inclusion, and contribute to the organization's strategic goals and mission.Senior Internal Auditor Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.Prior internal audit or public accounting experience.At least 5 years of financial auditing experience with strong knowledge of regulations and risk assessment processes.Tech-savvy with ERP systems and MS Office Suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Deadline-driven with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Benefits
