Title: Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager Compensation and Benefits is responsible for driving the design, implementation, administration, communication and ongoing evaluation of organization's rewards programs, policies and procedures. Position reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources and manages a team of 3 across compensation, benefits and payroll. Responsibilities: Lead and develop the Total Rewards and Payroll team, including hiring, training, coaching, and all other aspects of people management and development; lead deliverables and the annual objectives, identify and ensure seamless integration with the HR service delivery with a strong focus on exceptional employee experienceSupport the development of Rittal and Eplan's Total Rewards strategy; contribute to the design and lead the review of benefit and other compensation related programs; develop utilization and other reporting metrics to ensure competitiveness and alignment with our compensation philosophyPartner closely with Talent Management, Recruitment and HR Business / People Partnering and Global HR Leadership.Drives the organization Wellness programs and adoption.Oversee payroll operations and the delivery of accurate and on-time biweekly payrolls that include a high volume of transactions for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employee groupsOversee day-to-day total rewards operations including compensation related reporting, analysis, job evaluation, annual compensation cycle and pay equity exercises, compensation surveys, and other related activitiesEnsure compliance with all related federal/provincial legislation and internal policies and procedures as they relate to payroll services, including salaries, commissions, benefits, pension plan, bonuses, termination payments, and other special payments as requiredGovern and evaluate current related forms, systems, processes, and workflows; identify, research, recommend, and implement new or enhanced policies, procedures, and processes to improve operational effectiveness that support business needsIdentify and monitor related risk; develop and document various controls and systems to ensure activities are completed accurately and in compliance with associated regulations, legislation, and internal standardsIdentify, test, and implement updated systems or processes to automate payroll related functions where possible Knowledge & Experience: Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplineMinimum 5+ years' of full-time experience working preferably in a global manufacturing environment with salaried, hourly, and commissioned employee groupsMinimum 2 years' of experience leading or providing full scope Total Rewards services with people management experienceStrong payroll systems experience Experience with job evaluation tools and methodologiesExperience in mergers / acquisitions, payroll system integrations, and conversions Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while exercising mature judgment, leadership influence and decision-making skillsStrong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships across the organizationAdvanced proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint with the ability to produce high-quality, user-friendly reports and presentationsExcellent active listening, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organizationStrong planning, prioritization, organizational, and time-management capabilitiesDemonstrated experience managing multiple, competing tasks and prioritiesPossesses a continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated experience in process improvements and delivering business efficienciesAbility to quickly deliver solutions that meet the needs of a fast-paced, growing organizationExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issuesStrong leadership skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment with tact and diplomacyHigh level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism with the demonstrated ability to ensure confidentiality and protection of employee data and other sensitive information We offer an opportunity to be a part of a team that increases the optimization and efficiency of our Global Company.
