MUST HAVE BIW / ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE Position Summary: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our manufacturing processes and systems. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies that promote lean manufacturing best practices. Your expertise in leading cross-functional teams, coupled with your ability to identify and eliminate waste, will be instrumental in driving our continuous improvement efforts. This Position is expected to be promoted to Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager in one year.
Key Responsibilities: Champion lean manufacturing principles, driving the adoption of best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration between departments to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing strategies. Conduct executive-level presentations, effectively communicating the progress, insights, and future directions of manufacturing projects. Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance manufacturing processes, incorporating innovative solutions and state-of-the-art technologies. Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization, implementing solutions that enhance productivity and product quality. Create detailed project plans, setting clear objectives, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating new methodologies and technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
