Job Description
The Senior Network Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the network and cloud connectivity for our organization. This position demands a strategic thinker with a deep technical background and the ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and Azure services to drive innovation and efficiency across our network and cloud environments.
The architect will be responsible for leading the design, architecture and deployment of complex network and cloud connectivity projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, resilience, and security. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including other architects, security, and infrastructure operations staff, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that align with our strategic goals.
As a Senior Network Architect, you will be a trusted advisor and leader within the organization, driving forward our mission to deliver reliable, secure, and innovative network and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance network and cloud solutions using but not limited to Cisco, Fortinet, and Azure technologies.
Lead the implementation and integration of network and cloud connectivity projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network and cloud architecture documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform network and cloud infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network and cloud security.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and cloud infrastructure issues.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers and architects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in network and cloud technologies.
Develop standards and processes for the design, standardization, engineering, implementation, and maximization of cloud services used across MasterBrand.
Operate as a subject matter expert, designer, engineer, implementor, and consultant to any and all initiatives related to cloud services use across the enterprise.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner with a professional demeanor to all levels of the organization

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture and cloud connectivity services.
Extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
Strong expertise in Fortinet network and security solutions (e.g., FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer).
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with network automation and orchestration tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCIE, NSE, and Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
Experience in leading technical aspects of project work, integrating between IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and consulting adjacent teams on best approaches to cloud adoption.
Experience in migrating from traditional on-premise technologies to cloud platforms is required.
