Position Summary:
As a Process Technician, you will ensure the production of high-quality medical devices by optimizing manufacturing processes and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your role directly impacts the success of treatments for life-threatening cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Support: Operate and maintain production equipment used in catheter assembly, such as extrusion machines, laser welders, and braiding equipment. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Quality Assurance: Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production parameters, deviations, and maintenance activities per FDA, GMP and ISO 13485 standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues to minimize downtime. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, operations and quality teams to validate new processes or changes in design. Skills & Experience: Experience: Experience in a medical device or similar regulated manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency with manufacturing tools and techniques Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes of process deviations and propose actionable solutions. Attention to Detail: Proven track record of producing precise components with tight tolerances. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary technical training is a plus. Why Join Us?
