Position Overview:
As a Senior Offering Manager/Product Manager for Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), you will be a visionary and evangelist for fire hardware and software products, with a primary focus on connected buildings, digitization of alarm transmission, and SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, from concept to market delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading NPI programs, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This global leadership role is pivotal in Honeywell Fire's growth trajectory, overseeing the delivery of best-in-class software solutions for building owners, facility managers, system installers, central monitoring stations, and fire departments.
Ideal Candidate Experience: Product/Program Management Experience: Proven 10+ years of experience working as a product/program manager, or similar profile, with high-performing cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, finance, operations) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ownership Mentality: Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability for end-to-end product delivery.Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs and a relentless focus on delivering customer value.Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in data analysis and leveraging data to make informed decisions.Leadership & Execution: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results.Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling and customer-centric product strategy and vision.Customer Experience: Be the voice of the customer and define user personas and customer journey map to identify customer pain points.NPI Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.Roadmap Ownership: Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on a deep understanding of customer needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.Metrics-Driven Decision Making: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product features.Strategic Oversight: Lead the entire product life cycle, from ideation through development, pricing, delivery, and support.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple engineering, sales channels, and partners supporting the life cycle of bi-directional amplification systems.Customer Engagement: Partner with sales, engineering, and customer support teams to identify new product introduction opportunities.Stakeholder Partnerships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and technology vendors.Strategic Communication: Communicate program plans effectively to leadership.Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement the product roadmap, execute product strategy, manage customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and drive sales support partnering.Innovative Product Development: Drive innovative product development initiatives by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.Global Product Management: Collaborate with international teams to understand regional nuances and adapt product strategies accordingly.Continuous Customer Feedback: Establish mechanisms for gathering continuous customer feedback through surveys, usability studies, and other means.Agile Methodologies: Embrace agile methodologies to drive iterative development.Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Mentorship and Leadership Development: Provide mentorship to junior product managers and contribute to the development of leadership skills within the team.You Must Have: Minimum of 10 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products, projects, and investments.Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.Strong understanding of Master Data Management.We Value: Bachelor's Degree: in Business, Engineering, or related field.MBA or Advanced Degree (Preferred): An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.Industry Knowledge: Experience in the fire industry, products, technology, and or fire/codes.Industry Savviness: Savviness on emerging trends, technology and competitive landscape.Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SaaS product lifecycle and delivery methodologies.Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies including sprint planning and backlog management.Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align product strategies with broader business goals.Global Perspective: Experience working in a global context, understanding diverse market needs.Innovative Thinking: Strong innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management skills.If you are a self-driven product manager with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional solutions, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the success of Honeywell Fire as we transform the fire industry.
