In this role, you will be responsible for product management of CLEAR Verified (CV) Engine. The CV Engine powers the core functionality of the CLEAR Verified digital identity and is how our enterprise customers set-up and modify the right identity checks for their use case. Your focus will be defining a roadmap that balances 3 primary objectives: 1) best in class functionality, determining and driving towards the best identity tools for our target verticals (Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Travel & Hospitality) 2) consolidating/simplifying our technology so that we can launch new partners in just a few days, and 3) stability and performance, ensuring that we are always able to perform whenever our partners need us. You will own critical decisions and weigh tradeoffs between partner feature requests, new functionality, and tech investments, always focusing on solving problems for partners and people.
What You Will Do:
Define CLEAR's product strategy and roadmap for the CV Engine, always working backwards from the customer. Drive outcomes that support both company and team level success metrics
Build and manage multiple complex products from start to finish, owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from design to delivery. Drive a consistent end-user experience across direct user interfaces and API-based offerings.
Represent CLEAR on external calls with partners to share roadmap and understand/prioritize partner feature requests
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Operations, Engineering, IT, Sales, Design, and Marketing in order to deliver against quarterly and annual roadmap initiatives
Drive continuous improvement using qualitative and quantitative data to identify issues and ways to improve
Deeply understand the evolving competitive landscape of digital identity, and understand where CLEAR is uniquely positioned to drive value for travelers
How You'll Measure Success:
You will develop success metrics for your team. Your top goal is to drive core functionality. It is critical that the CV Engine power our partner and user experiences across a number of verticals and use cases. It's also critical that we empower partners to self-serve whenever possible. Last, but not least, is partnering with engineering to build a platform that supports our ambitions using standard metrics such as partner time-to-live, API latency, SLA response times, and mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) bugs.
What You're Great At:
4+ years of experience in product management
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative consumer experiences at scale
Ability to create a multi-quarter strategy based on current market trends and existing partner needs
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
Entrepreneurial, strategic planner with proven ability to drive projects and strong analytical skills
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
