We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects on concurrent timelines. If you like variety and tailoring process to project, this is the job for you. The Senior Project Manager is process-oriented, unafraid to ask questions, and has the experience to lead the day-to-day work on integrated projects. You believe in flawless execution and can influence teams to achieve great work within the boundaries of time, scope, and budget.
Who are you? You can drive, estimate, schedule, and juggle deliverables across multiple projects at one time. You serve as the common thread on projects, managing schedules, priorities, and cross-functional teams so that nothing falls through the cracks. You are a detail-oriented communicator with an energetic presence and a belief in following through. Your teams and clients never have to ask what the next steps are because you always keep them informed. You create and connect workflows by communicating, tracking, timing, and problem-solving to achieve project delivery goals.
The job As the Senior Project Manager across multiple concurrent projects, you'll work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver for our clients. You collaborate with Account and Specialty peers to ensure that project deliverables connect with strategic intent, while meeting time and budget specifications. Our projects can span organic and paid social media, creator, strategy, earned media, data and analytics, activations, and more.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the delivery of workstreams within large, complex initiatives and/or own mid-size projects independently and with minimal oversight.Proficient in developing and implementing adaptable processes and communication workflows tailored to the specific requirements of each project or workstream.Work with the Account and Specialty leads to resolve project-related issues, escalating project blockers and risk to the Project Lead.Demonstrate business acumen by producing top-down and bottom-up estimates, and leading definition of scopes and staff plans with account leads and specialty teams, utilizing appropriate tools.Lead the development and approval workflow of Statements of Work with Finance, Contracts and Account teams.Author and maintain project schedules, project briefs, cost estimates and project financial management (OOP & fee) and other relevant project documentation with input from cross-discipline teams.Partner with Finance and Account teams to manage and communicate project burn, raise scope creep, share budget reporting, and participate in the monthly forecasting process.Participate in client discussions related to project plans and set expectations on due dates needed to meet project goals.Partner with Resource Management to establish staff plans, providing clarity that aligns specialty team needs with project future staffing requirements to identify the best talent for the work.Ensure the quality and consistency across all projects is consistent with brand guidelines.Balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident leadership.Basic Qualifications5 – 7 years of project management, integrated marketing/PR agency, or related experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred QualificationsExpert in core project management skills of scoping, budgeting, and building detailed timelines for a variety of deliverables and size of projects.Proven ability to generate effective cross team communications in a collaborative, hybrid environment to drive workflows.Skilled in troubleshooting issues and proactively addressing blockers and prioritizing needs across multiple programs at once.Understanding of trade-offs and management of risks to delivery timelines and budget.Working knowledge and confidence using SmartSheet and Microsoft Office suite of products.Excellent written and verbal communication.$69,000 - $108,000 a year
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
