Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products by utilizing modern testing frameworks and tools. This role requires a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while managing complex testing scenarios. Responsibilities: Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress. Utilize Sauce Labs or similar test runner services to run tests in parallel and manage test environments. Apply best practices for structuring tests to ensure reusability and maintainability. Address scenarios where the application or services are not ready for testing by creating workarounds or emulating services. Collaborate with product teams to enhance testing processes and improve overall software quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of QA engineering, with a focus on automated testing. 5+ years of experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and scripts, ensuring high efficiency and accuracy in test execution. Preferred Skills: Experience in a tech-forward environment, preferably a startup or modern tech company. Strong ability to create solutions in the absence of complete data or functional services. Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with product teams to anticipate and plan for new test cases. Familiarity with modern web applications and cloud-based backends. Pay Range and Compensation Package: The base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$140,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
