Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary Description: The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer should have extensive experience in quality engineering work and the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced organization.
They will be responsible for continuously improving the quality system across all brands, establishing quality control systems, and setting product requirements to exceed consumer expectations.
Duties: Collaborate with internal and external groups to achieve the best quality results while considering cost impact to the business.
Effectively troubleshoot new and existing processes and communicate quality risks.
Analyze data to troubleshoot quality problems and qualify new equipment/processes.
Develop control plans for new product development projects and launches of new packaging forms.
Create quality control plans for testing protocols and ongoing performance monitoring for various products.
Manage the Supplier Non-Conformance system and prioritize project tasks.
Conduct audits of supply chain partners and lead continuous improvement projects.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality role Green or Black Belt Six Sigma (or Lean) Certification preferred ASQ CQE preferred Experience in GMP or ISO:9001 quality systems preferred Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities Physical Demands: The role is subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking in a manufacturing environment.
The employee may frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds of material.
