From test-driving the latest technologies to creating intuitive consumer apps, Liberty Mutual is constantly innovating and creating industry-leading solutions that provide peace of mind for our customers worldwide.The Global Digital Services, Strategy & Advancement is seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to join  Planning and Delivery team.  This role will play a pivotal role in influencing organizational change by guiding the coordination, synchronization and alignment of value streams delivering large-solution value.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee delivery across portfolios, in partnership with Portfolio Product Owners to optimize delivery with high quality outcomes that are aligned to organizational goalsApply systems thinking to streamline value deliveryDrive usage of data and metrics to balance product delivery and engineering excellenceFacilitate at scale to enable effective collaboration, communication and alignment among portfolio teams and stakeholdersBuild consistent governance and delivery processes to increase velocityDrive consistent planning and delivery processes by coordinating, aligning and orchestrating the work of a collection of teamsFoster a culture of collaboration and transparency, enabling effective communication and information sharing among cross-functional teams and stakeholderMaturity of organizational agility; optimization of how we delivery across value streamsDefine assessment models and indicators to assess the health and effectiveness of value streams and drive improves that enhance efficiency and effectivenessQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 7+ years of IT/program management/leadership experience working in agile teams, including responsibilities such as RTE, Agile Coach, or Program ManagerKnowledge/training equivalent to at least one advanced certification from a reputable Lean/agile organization preferred (Scrum.org SPS, SAFe SPC, SAFe RTE, ICAgile Professional ICP-ATF, ICAgile Professional ICP-ACC, Project Management Institute PMI-ACP)Strong proficiency of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), Lean-Agile frameworks and Agile project management concepts, practices, and techniquesScrum Master certification required; CSM, SSM, PSM, SASM, etc.Strong proficiency with Agile tools (Jira), experience with CI/CD tools is a plusDemonstrated experience in having positively contributed to enterprise-wide, organization changesTechnology and Cybersecurity knowledge and experience preferredRequires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environmentStrong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus/majority building skillsAbility to influence without having organizational authorityHave a passion for continuous improvement, bringing innovative thinking to your role, and helping evolve the organizations practices and toolsMust be an excellent team player, coach, mentor, and collaboratorAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, across diverse systems and groupsMust be self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problemsActively practice continuous learning by seeking opportunities for self-improvement and agile maturitySurfaces & works with key stakeholders to address anti-patterns that impede organizational agilityDrive program level data-driven continuous improvement through focused qualitative and quantitative retrospectionAbout Us**This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.**At Liberty Mutual, our purpose is to help people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow.
