We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team at an exciting inflection point. Having successfully validated our core product, we're now entering a high-growth phase. What you will do: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software, primarily using PHP.Thoughtfully implement the next phase of our system, ensuring best practices in coding standards, security, and scalability.Conduct code reviews and contribute to the growth of the engineering team's skills and knowledge.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure performance and stability of applications.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our tech stack and business needs.Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing support.Contribute to the development and refinement of our development processes, including continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment strategies.Act as a technical lead on projects, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project completion.What you bring to the table: 6+ years of software engineering experience.Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs.Excellent software engineering skills in at least one programming language like Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET etc.Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices in software development.Strong experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.Proficiency in front-end fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
