What Will You Be Doing?
As a senior engineer, you'll help tackle some of our hardest problems while scaling within a culture of engineering excellence. You'll be joining on the ground floor alongside an experienced core team that has built and scaled several cloud-based backend architectures to millions of users and transactions. You'll help define our systems architecture, engineering roadmap, and personally build out foundational components that power Augment. You'll solve abstract, hard problems, and break them into a system that can be maintained, tested, and scaled. You'll build data models and infrastructure for stream data processing, ML training, and graph manipulation, then wrap them in simple, extensible, and efficient APIs. You'll be empowered to take ownership, make decisions and get things done.

What Have You Got?
5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency with Ruby, Python, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ and the AWS ecosystem
Experience building and debugging distributed systems
Familiarity with automated testing and test-driven development
Early-stage startup experience strongly preferred
Multi-hat: bonus for DevOps experience
Multi-hat: bonus for AI DL/ML experience
