In this hybrid role, you will report to Head of Product Data Science, Commercialization.
You will: Build marketplace models that improve our overall understanding of the ride-hailing business and guide investment decisions across the company Act as a technical leader across our marketplace management teams and ensure right solutions are being developed and delivered Analyze complex operational and commercial data to enhance performance as Waymo scales our AV business Function as a thought partner with senior management and stakeholders, and align stakeholders around the vision to gain cross-functional support Mentor and grow other Data Scientists within the organization You have: 10+ years of experience in the Marketplace Optimization space, building models and algorithms Statistical knowledge/data understanding Ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems Strong Coding skills and experience Experience interacting with senior leadership We prefer: Transportation or AV experience Marketplace business experience Experience interacting with Engineering teams

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below.
Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
