Position Title: Senior Supervisor I
Department: Program Development
Reports To: Director of Program Development
POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Supervisor of Training reports to the Director of the Program Development Department and is primarily responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of the agency's comprehensive employee training and development program.
Salary Range: $46 - $68.50 per hour DOE

Assessment of agency's various job competency requirements in order to design/identify and implement training activities to maintain, enhance and improve desired employee job competencies. Development of standardized employee training programs/curricula, including classroom trainings, web-based, and interactive e-learning opportunities. Identify and develop resources internal and external to the agency to enhance training capabilities and expand training curricula content. Respond to ongoing and new identified training needs as they develop from new agency policy & procedures, funding sources and/or agency/programmatic licensing/credentialing requirements. Provide supervision and oversight of all agency trainings, including logistics and marketing. Design and implement a business and funding development plan to make training program activities self-sustaining. Maintain and develop new employee training policy and procedures that further the overall goals and objectives of the training program. Additional Functions Evaluate agency-wide employee training program for purpose of identifying and addressing gaps given employee job functions and expected work skills. Collaborate with agency Directors, Supervisors and training vendors/consultants to locate appropriate trainers/facilitators for all training topics. Maintain training database system that records all training information, including participant information, locations, evaluations, and continuing education units. Attend agency operational or patient care meetings for purpose of identifying ongoing employee training needs. Assist agency Directors/Supervisors and other trainers in developing, identifying and locating and creating appropriate employee education/training curricula. Assess the need and opportunity for growth of the training program. Network at the local, state and federal level to develop contacts and collaborations that further expand scope of training program. In conjunction with the Director of PD, hire, retain, educate, evaluate, discipline, and assess overall competency of training program staff and consultants. Develop systems to streamline, manage, monitor responsibilities, and evaluate overall functions of training program. Attend supervisor level agency-wide committees and meetings as indicated. Attend, as necessary, in-services, educational and capacity building trainings. Other duties as indicated or assigned by PD Director and/or CEO. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree or equivalent in health related field. A minimum of five (5) years experience in training and education field in a supervisory capacity. Excellent knowledge of event (conferences/workshop/symposium) and personnel management, training, and curricula development. Excellent written and oral communication skills; must have ability to assess need for program growth; and, must have ability to assess training needs of employees in an effort to match trainers with training topics. Excellent knowledge of software and applications related to training process and procedures.
