As a key member of the Supply Chain Innovation organization, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that optimize inventory orchestration, network design, connectivity, and labor planning. Your expertise in advanced supply chain modeling techniques, coupled with your strong analytical skills and customer-centric mindset, will enable you to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the seller experience within the AWD network.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute long-term capacity planning strategies to support AWD growth
Create and implement advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization
Utilize data-driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction
Lead the development of cube planning strategies to maximize space utilization
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, focusing on capacity planning, inventory optimization, and network design
- Proven expertise in advanced supply chain modeling techniques (optimization algorithms, simulation, machine learning)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, offering advanced knowledge and strategic thinking skills pertinent to high-level supply chain challenges.
- Professional certifications related to supply chain management, such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), which demonstrate a commitment to the field and an understanding of global supply chain operations.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain, leveraging AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
- Proven success in managing complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, global environment, highlighting leadership in navigating organizational complexities and driving results.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain networks, including risk management, regulatory compliance, and international trade practices.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in predictive analytics, scenario planning, and decision-making based on data-driven insights.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
