Position Overview:
As a representative of Mobile Air, you will be an essential team member responsible for coordinating the delivery, installation, and servicing of our rental equipment.
Higher-level technicians will possess advanced skills in troubleshooting air-cooled chillers and large tonnage HVAC equipment, including setup and repair.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: Process customer orders received from the sales department or branch manager, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.Deliver exceptional customer experiences that encourage repeat business.Install equipment as necessary.For heating equipment, run temporary hoses to connect with natural gas or propane sources.Install flexible ductwork as needed for temporary applications.Utilize appropriate PPE and fall protection as required at all times.Perform initial equipment startup and necessary service repairs.Retrieve equipment from customer locations upon completion of rentals, documenting the returned items.Conduct equipment reconditioning per established work instructions and complete required checklists.Safely store equipment in the branch warehouse.Perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Duties for Higher-Level Technicians: Clean chillers and large air conditioning equipment.Retrieve required accessories from inventory for shipping with chiller or large AC orders.Aid in the loading of chillers and large air conditioning equipment.Start up and troubleshoot oil-fired heating equipment.Diagnose and repair air conditioning equipment, including refrigerant circuit management.Support the installation of air-cooled chillers and large package HVAC rental units. Requirements: Experience levels range from 0-5 years.High school diploma or GED is required.A 2-year HVAC certificate and/or Universal Refrigeration Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred for higher-level technicians.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products or similar software; familiarity with MRP or Rental software is a plus.Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

This position may require working a rotating on-call schedule and being available for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.
Travel may also be necessary.
Overtime and double-time pay rates apply for applicable hours worked.
