Job Description

Under Direction from the Shift Manager Cage, is responsible for direct supervision of cashiers cage.

Job Duties

Supervises the daily Cage operations on the Casino floor for an assigned shift. Enforces Casino regulatory rules and regulations, Casino internal controls and accounting controls in order to safeguard the company’s assets. Assists in monitoring business demands and makes necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments. Assists the Shift Manager Cage with day-to-day operation of the Cages to include training, counseling, and supervision of employees. Promotes superior guest service to both internal and external guests. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all departments. Handles guest service and employee related issues with composure and professionalism. Assumes the responsibilities of the Shift Manager Cage in his/her absence. This Shift Supervisor Cage is responsible for the Marker Bank, unless they are acting as the Shift Manager on duty. In the event that a Shift Supervisor Cage is acting as a Cage Shift Manager, another Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the Marker Bank. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Qualifications

Previous money handling and Supervisory experience preferred. Basic computer input skills. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
