As a Shipping Team Lead, you will coordinate and execute logistics operations within the work center(s) of responsibility. This is accomplished through a team of shipping, receiving & sampling employees. You will also ensure that dsm-firmenich's safety, quality, housekeeping, service (punctuality) and cost standards are met or exceeded in the receipt and shipment of flavor or fragrance products and ingredients.

Your key responsibilities
Utilizing a team approach coordinates all shipping & receiving activities within the work center (s).
Complete tasks in a manner to ensure supply chain performance measures are achieved, such as on-time delivery, safety, quality, punctuality, customer satisfaction.
Assist training department to ensure well-trained workforce utilizing good communication, best business practices and continuous improvement techniques.
Ensure a thorough understanding of safety, quality, punctuality and non-conformance KPI's to promote within workgroup.
Ensure good working relationships with internal and external groups to continue to improve the overall business process.
Partner with other Group Leaders to coordinate overtime and other cross-functional duties

You bring
High School diploma or GED.
Prior equipment operator experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience handling chemicals.
Fork Lift & material handling equipment operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of G.M.P's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
