As a Shopper Insights Lead, you will be part of a customer insights team with an insatiable curiosity to understand the omni-shopper and an unyielding passion to win in the marketplace.
This role will lead Shopper Insights for Adult and Feminine Care (AFC) Department business, requiring high levels of influence, collaboration, and strategy-building with internal stakeholders & external customer partners.
You must be skilled in developing and applying deep, data-driven shopper understanding to diagnose and solve complex problems through both sales/shopper analytics knowledge and custom research expertise.
Elevating the impact of insights, you need to have a mastery of synthesizing multiple data sources and stories to tell a clear, compelling narrative to inspire & drive action.
*In this role you will: *

* Strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail customers, field sales, category management, shopper marketing, Insights and Analytics, Brand and Business Unit teams, and digital operations

* Constant interaction (Direct and Indirect) Brand and Business unit senior leadership to develop go to market plans for AFC brands

* Integral in creation of Product Demand, through insights learned through research, to create effective shopper narratives used to create action in our retailers

* Develop and deliver actionable insights relative to consumer, shopper, and category trends/behaviors

*To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree with a concentration in research, marketing, or quantitative analysis / related field

* 5+ years of consumer/shopper research experience, inclusive of analytics and/or custom research

* Background in identifying key growth opportunities, leveraging existing research and conducting new research to investigate and answer business questions

* Market research experience, including leading primary research studies

* Creation and execution of annual learning plan and research vendor management

* Experience leveraging scan, household panel, and retailer loyalty card data and transforming into actionable insights for Sales/Marketing

* Experience and ability to synthesize data into insights, develop and communicate strategic thinking

* Build strong sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout organization and with customers

* Create professional and persuasive PowerPoint presentations incorporating data, relevant insights and information; visual aids, charts, tables, graphs and short video clips, when appropriate

* Excellent communication skills – oral and written - to individuals and groups.
* Ability for limited domestic travel - 10-15%

*Preferred:*

* MBA or other Masters' degree with a concentration in research, marketing, or quantitative analysis / related field

* Proven success working with CPG business teams to activate insights with retailers

* Digital commerce / total commerce research expertise

* Data visualization tools i.e.
- Power BI, Tableau

* Experience analyzing shopper data and developing retailer solutions (e.g., planograms, shopper marketing) that delivers category or brand growth

* Experience and desire to explore new, behavioral science-based methods.
