### Job Description

HP is seeking a motivated and resilient Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C. This part-time position allows for a flexible remote work environment, enabling you to collaborate with colleagues from around the globe. As a Social Media Manager, you will drive HP's social media strategy, enhance our brand presence, and engage with our audience effectively across multiple platforms.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Content Creation & Management:**
- Develop, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written content) across various social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce engaging and appealing content that resonates with our target audience.

- **Social Media Strategy:**
- Assist in developing and refining HP's social media strategy to align with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the digital space that can enhance our social media outreach.

- **Engagement & Community Management:**
- Foster online community engagement by responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor social media conversations and feedback to gauge audience sentiment, tackling issues as they arise and implementing proactive solutions.

- **Analytics & Reporting:**
- Utilize social media analytics tools to measure and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations based on data insights for continuous improvement.

- **Collaboration & Coordination:**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and product development, to ensure a cohesive brand message and promotional effort across platforms.
- Organize social media campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely project completion and alignment with department goals.

- **Crisis Management:**
- Assist in monitoring and managing social media crises. Develop strategies to mitigate negative feedback or PR issues in a proactive manner.

- **Trend Monitoring:**
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media and digital marketing, ensuring HP remains at the forefront of industry changes.

#### **Requirements:**

- **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in social media management or digital marketing.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and branding principles.

- **Personality Traits:**
- **Motivated:** A self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates a proactive attitude in achieving results.
- **Resilient:** Able to maintain a positive approach in the face of challenges and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
