Picture Yourself at Pega:We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be part of a team that is working directly with our Chief Product Officer on the Pega Blueprint SaaS offering. This is a high visibility individual contributor (IC) role that demands a solid technical foundation and a proactive attitude. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up-like environment within the walls of a much larger company.
What You'll Do at Pega:You will act as a team member developing the Pega Blueprint SaaS application.Frequently deploy changes to production to ensure the product is up to date.Continuously help and support our product team while operating the Pega Blueprint production service.Quickly adapt to changing priorities based on customer feedback, thinking on your feet to solve complex problems and speedbumps in the product's lifecycle.Who You Are:You are a highly motivated, strongly autonomous individual but also work well in teams.You want a high visibility role.You are excited to work closely with VP and C-level Executives.You are adaptable, passionate, and innovative.Must be local to Waltham, MA and able to come onsite 3-4 days per week.What You've Accomplished:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar degree is required.Experience using React is required.Experience with prompt engineering is highly encouraged.Experience with Java is ideal.Primarily will work in rules development (App development on Pega Infinity).Pega CSA or CSSA is a plus.As an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, Pegasystems will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, veteran or disability status, or any other category protected by law.
