In the role of South Carolina Area Quality Lead, we'll count on you to:
Serve as the local representative within the Area for the Quality Office and support the development and implementation of the organizations Quality Management System (QMS).
Provide guidance to Project Managers regarding development of project plans (e.g., Project Management Plan, Quality Management Plan).
Communicate QMS updates and Quality Office directives to the Area leadership and staff as appropriate.
Regularly report Area QMS implementation and audit resolution strategies to the Regional Quality Director.
Assist Project Managers in identifying best practices for their projects when requested.
Identify QMS related needs of local Project Managers and leadership and communicate to the Quality Office.
Support the QMS Internal Audit during formal corporate audit cycles.
Act as an advocate for Quality to the area – train and communicate to staff in a way that focuses on the value and intent of quality management.
Monitor the proper scheduling and completion of QA and QC activities through the Area's use of the QMIS.
Develop and update local Area processes through collaboration with area stakeholders, which supports implementation of QMS requirements.
Review and comment on pending company procedures during assigned comment periods.
Identify Project Managers needing support in properly implementing QMS and local Area process requirements.
Work with new employees in on-boarding and awareness of the HDR QMS and its role in our organization.
Respond to staff questions or issues related to policies and procedures related to the organization's QMS.
Identify local opportunities for training and support through monitoring loss trends due to quality related issues.
Manage the QRC overhead budget to annual plan.
Participate as a management representative for quality in area leadership meetings.
Coordinate with other area stakeholders to support project needs, as necessary.
Work independently to effectively manage complex project- and executive-level paper and electronic files, documents and records.
Manage project insurance matters.
Work with complex contracts and sub-agreements.
Work closely with multiple Project Managers and project teams.
Organize and coordinate project reviews, and assist with presentation of information.
Assist with project budgets and ensure compliance with project contractual obligations as needed.
Track and monitor project budgets, workloads and schedules.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years in similar consulting industry.
A minimum of 2 years in quality or process related functions.
Ability to develop an understanding of QMS fundamentals.
Proven skills in the areas of staff communication and engagement.
Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience.
Strong familiarity with Adobe PDF.
Represents HDR's commitment to fulfill project responsibilities and obligations to client and internal management stakeholders.
Must provide professional and ethical direction for the company and staff.
Strong commitment to enhancing quality culture among local leadership and staff.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 5 years related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
