Special Education Paraprofessional at Rivermont Schools IDS King George, VA, 22485 Join Rivermont Schools In-District Services (IDS) as we partner with local school districts to enhance special education by providing BCBAs, Teachers, RBTs, SLPs, and Paraprofessionals for their classrooms. What we offer: Compensation: $17.00 - 20.00 per hour based on education and experience. Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques. Observe/Record data related to behavioral concerns to assess/monitor the progress of the student. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' behavioral and developmental needs. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behavior management and techniques. Assist students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience and compassion. Nice-to-Haves An associate's degree or higher or completed at least two years of postsecondary study; or successful completion of a state or locally developed assessment.
