Facility Management Corporation, known as "FMC Ice Sports" was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations, as well as ice-based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating. We have established a record of quality operations and have grown to be the largest operator of public arenas in the United States. FMC operates 25 public ice skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in long-term partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions.
The Sports Videographer and Photographer Intern will assist the Marketing Department in the creation of engaging and brand-consistent content to promote our programs. This position will be 20-25 hours per week June - August. Work schedule will include nights, weekends and holidays as necessary to meet the needs of our patrons and to complete job responsibilities.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Current or recent enrollment in a degree program in photography, videography, graphic design, marketing or a similar field.Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills.Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution ability.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to seek out and share new ideas for further or different marketing efforts.Flexibility to work varying hours especially as season service needs change. Must be available to work weekends.Responsibilities include: Specializes in capturing and creating video and image content for ice sports.Collaborates with the Marketing Department.Must be able to produce and edit content for FMC Ice Sports and New England Future Stars (NEFS) promotion of programsMust have own transportation and be willing to travel to multiple rink locations throughout Massachusetts.Must be willing to attend FMC and NEFS hockey games, figure skating events, and learn-to-skate programs.Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.If interested please submit your resume along with several examples of sports videography and photography you have captured.
