Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. cash accountant to work for a major healthcare system. This will participate in month-end close process which will include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, book allocations, and supporting schedules to ensure all financial transactions and data are recorded accurately in the general ledger. They will be heavily involved with the cash accounting aspect which will include maintaining the cash accounts, oversee cash transactions, ensure accurate recordings, manage cash flow, account reconciliation, and more. This accountant will assist the Midwest team and will be primarily remote besides when the team gets together once a month if possible.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Heavy experience balancing cash/cash management
Experience working with Workday
Experience with journal entries, reconciliation, balance sheets, general ledger
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related degree Experience using One Stream and/or GTreasury
Healthcare experience null
