Sr. Hr Generalist

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to join our growing team.
The Role The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for providing human resources support and services to the manufacturing facility.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Support safety and engagement programs to ensure every people leader and employee are engaged, starting with safety.Promote and develop positive employee relations by providing direct HR support to the facility.Resolve and address employee questions and concerns by partnering with plant leadership team.In consultation with the HR Manager, assist plant leaders with the management of corrective action to drive performance and adherence to company policy.Conduct policy reviews and trainings during plant meetings to ensure understanding and compliance.Lead and coach leaders to create an environment where talent is developed through effective coaching, performance management, and talent evaluation.Conduct robust investigations adhering to company policies and procedures.Support HR related matters, including but not limited to the administration of HR policies, onboarding, leadership development, performance management, change management, and community outreach as needed.Partner with site leadership in facilitating employee communications to ensure clarity and understanding.Support plant operations with the development and management of staffing and workforce management for hourly workforce.Other HR process and support duties as assigned including participating in or leading JELD-WEN HR project initiatives.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities An intense focus on customer service.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse group of employees.Knowledge of local, state, and national labor laws, leave administration, and benefits knowledge is a plus.Must have the ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.5 - 10 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Experience handling and resolving a wide range of employee relations issues.About JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.
