The Sr IT Support Specialist role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of all internal IT systems and functions on a daily basis. This includes providing support for internal users and systems. It is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, but the Sr IT Support Specialist must be flexible and available to work other shifts and weekends as needed.
The Right Candidate will:
5+ years' experience in Active Directory/Azure Administration along with Office 365 Administration
MCSE certification preferred or equivalent experience
Apple and Mac's knowledge preferred
A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is preferred; equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree is accepted.
Experience working in a global company with many time zones and live within 1hr drive time of the Anaheim office.
Skills and Experience:
Ability to work independently and critically think through and deploy issue resolution
Exceptional customer service support, interpersonal skills, and excellent video etiquette are required
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain all aspects of the company's technology assets, both administratively and mechanically, and written support documentation
Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, NTFS permissions administration, and server management
Experience with Server, Tape, and Cloud-based backup solutions
Apple MacOS and Apple hardware knowledge
Proficient with MS 365 Suite
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Highly motivated and self-driven
Ability to multitask among changing priorities
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
Active Directory and Office 365 Administration
Monitor and maintain the current backup environment.
Working on the phone, in person and within the helpdesk system to process support requests, document solutions and communicate status to the end users and IT management
Ability to support and maintain Windows PCs / Macintosh
Administrator for VOIP corporate phone system
Provide technical support for end users in person, via phone or remote access
Perform daily system monitoring and environmental health checks
Planning, implementation, supporting, and maintaining servers, networking, and infrastructure to prevent productivity and data loss
Troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting the business operation
Implement complex projects and time-sensitive tasks under minimal or no supervision
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and strategies to increase reliability and manageability
Responsible for new employee PC setup and onboarding
Occasionally drive between Anaheim office and Irvine Data Center
