The Opportunity:The Senior Manager, Contract Administration is the subject matter expert (SME) within the greater US Commercial organization on contract data, related data, reporting, fees, chargebacks, Model N contract set up, contract compliance, and downstream contracting activities for all channels.The role liaises with all touch points within the contracting continuum, represents contracting in all I&T projects, and supports the team to create contract program and payment related language.This position requires a deep understanding of bid response data, drafting rebate and fee clauses, and contract negotiation, execution, and retirement. The role also entails analyzing and interpreting the implications of commercial contracting decisions and offering suggestions and alternatives as necessary. In addition, the candidate will oversee the creation of all contract operations documentation (SOPs, work instructions, and guidelines) in the function and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.This position will manage the day-to-day engagement with external fee, rebate, and chargeback vendor(s) and will be responsible for the offer development and contract document creation for select accounts. The candidate should prioritize leading by example, demonstrating confidence and competence, and exhibiting agility and flexibility.The Role: Manages Commercial Contracting operations through partnering with various stakeholders (Demand planning, Customer Ops, Customer Service, and Data Control) by using Model N, SAP, and other available tools across all channels.Point of contact for downstream contract activities including overseeing data and reporting, ensures compliance with naming conventions, file retention requirements, and contract obligations (rebates, admin fees, distributor fees).Develops a deep understanding of all sales channels to support demands of a changing market and respond to competitive challenges.Ensures appropriate training is conducted with stakeholders external to and within the Market Access & Revenue Management Team on changes to contracting policies and procedures that impact strategy and business operations. Analyses trends, identifies opportunities to positively impact net sales, and actively participates in contracting strategy discussions.Collaborates with Finance and Compliance stakeholders on initiatives to improve adherence to policies and procedures. Responsible for supporting accruals and other finance department needs.Influences product and revenue growth with innovative contracting system strategies including enterprise contracting when new products are launched.Subject matter expert and point of contact for all chargeback, rebate, admin fee, and distribution fee related activities, data, systems, and inquiries.Manages the creation, development, regular reporting, and distribution of metrics related to fees, chargebacks, and rebates (and returns as they relate to these areas).Identifies opportunities to adapt work processes and activities to better meet changing work demands. Supports the implementation of industry best practices for contract administration which includes reporting tools and systems.Builds business cases to implement appropriate technologies and platforms.Supports the design and execution of innovative services and applications that will enhance the CSL Seqirus customer experience.Market Access and Revenue Management point of contact for Commercial Excellence team projects.Functions as the subject matter expert within the greater organization on CSL Seqirus distributor channel partner and retail customer contracts from inception to retirement. Supports the execution of over-arching channel strategies through innovating the chargeback, rebate, and fee space.Leverages experiences to ensure contract compliance and create robust documents that align with all policies and procedures for select accounts.Represents US Commercial contracting on all relevant workstreams.Manages US Commercial authorized contractors and consultants.Acts as the liaison to the Information & Technology organization for all department needs. Leads all system improvement projects and activities including creating use cases and testing.Drives alignment by creating processes that leverage insights, share best practices, and create a culture of open and transparent communication. This will be accomplished through collaboration across the entire stakeholder ecosystem.Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with various teams within the greater organization including but not limited to: Compliance, Government Contract & Pricing Finance, Information & Technology (IT), Legal, Marketing, Operations, Public Policy, Reimbursement, and Sales.Ability to manage complex competing priorities. This role will guide the organization to ensure national channel net price and terms perspective is incorporated into overarching contracting strategy. This role is a partner and influencer with Sales, Marketing, Comm Ops and Finance.Conducts analysis to support pricing and contract strategy decisions.Participates in developing annual commercial offer around contracting and pricing strategy for all channels. Support go-to market strategies for new products.Manages reporting needs of the team. Reaches across other teams to determine availability of information required to validate customer market share and salesYour Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences, healthcare, science discipline or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.7+ years relevant commercial operations experience specifically focusing on pharmaceutical contract operations for at least five years.Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Business Intelligence reporting (BI) are required. The ideal candidate must be proficient in utilizing Model N or an equivalent platform. Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities. Ability to communicate with senior leadership, lead cross-functional teams, and motivate and guide team members to ensure alignment with the finance department and corporate objectives while maintaining compliance with all reporting mandates.
