Sr. Payroll Tax Executive

VENTEON Finance is hiring a SR.
PAYROLL TAX EXECUTIVE to provide support in downtown Detroit, MI.
You will join a quality team of payroll professionals supporting high volume inhouse payroll operations.
Serve on a team acting as subject matter expert for Federal, multi- State, Local, and Canadian payroll tax filings.
Ensure tax compliance and resolve tax notices.


POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Direct, Hybrid (Onsite Monday and Tuesday).
PAY: 90,000 to $ 110,000 annually based on education and directly relevant payroll, tax, and accounting skill level.


Requirements of the Sr.
Payroll Tax Executive: Education Bachelor degree highly desirable.
CPP Certification is desirable.
High volume, multi state payroll processing work experience.
Person experienced in a large multi company work environment.
Direct experience with payroll taxation including rules, filings, (940/941, W2, etc.
), compliance, and year end reporting.
Experience setting up new tax jurisdictions and following up on tax notices.
Accounting month end close experience including payroll general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Technical: Understanding of HRIS, Human Capital Management (HCM) , and Workday a plus .
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
