Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) is one of the largest technological components within the transportation organization enabling the corporation to conduct global trade. These systems are a cornerstone to the success of all global program launches including retail expansions into new geographies and the establishment of new transportation arcs. TFS provides an end-to-end financial solution for all financial transactions including tax integration, financial document creation & management, expense auditing, accounting, payments, and cost allocation functions. We leverage the latest machine learning technologies to develop highly scalable next generation products driving real time financial accounting, reporting, and business insights.
One of the foundations to these financial systems is the Auditing Platform. TFS Audits the financial documents received from the carriers who provide logistics services for Amazon and authorizes invoices for payment when all checks are cleared. The Audit platform automates the identification of any variances between planned charges and actual Carrier Invoiced charges. Whenever variances are detected, the platform uses multiple intelligent mechanisms to identify the root cause and resolve the reasons for the variance, ensuring minimal charges need subsequent manual intervention.
