Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist with expertise in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) or Electrical Technician work to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic products and systems. Department of Defense (DoD) experience is preferred but not required. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can uphold high-quality standards and support production, inspection, and compliance efforts in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This is a 3 month contract to hire.
\n Responsibilities:Quality Assurance & Inspection:Perform detailed inspections of PCBs and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet company and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems.Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.Compliance & Documentation:Maintain and ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.Prepare and review inspection reports, quality documentation, and test records.Support audits by internal teams, customers, or regulatory agencies.Collaboration & Process Improvement:Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.Provide feedback to enhance product designs and manufacturing processes.Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce defects.Training & Mentorship:Train and mentor junior team members on quality control procedures and best practices.Serve as a subject matter expert in PCB and electrical quality control techniques.
