Our mission is to ensure all AWS services are secure and meet our customers' expectations at launch and in production.
We are seeking a talented Sr.
Product Manager to help us achieve this mission through strategic and operational leadership of our of products.
This is a high impact leadership position where you will enable AWS service teams to efficiently meet the security bar.
AWS Security holds a high security bar which is instantiated as a set of controls that are continuously monitored by our automated detection products.
These products evaluate application programming interfaces, code and all types of resources.
It is more than detection of issue with equal focus given to preventing the introduction of issue and rapid remediation for a complete life cycle view.
Our workflow automation products enable collaboration between AWS service teams and security teams to ensure new services and features meet our high security bar at launch.
A successful candidate will demonstrate proven product management skills with experience understanding customer needs, building roadmaps and launching features that deliver value for large scale enterprise systems.
The candidate will be comfortable managing competing priorities and be able to bring clarity and order to ambiguous scenarios.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering services for use by software developers.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are important, as the candidate will frequently work with leadership and colleagues that cross organizational boundaries.

Collaborate with software development teams to design, scope, build and launch features
Build, maintain and communicate the product roadmap

Basic Qualifications
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition and with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services and representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
5+ years of end to end product delivery experience and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
MBA
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and turning ambiguous ideas into products
Excellent customer experience intuition to translate customer needs into crisp, detailed product requirements
Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex business problems and ability to make trade-off decisions between customer experience and time-to-market
Experience with cloud services and/or security

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
