Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations related to construction projects. This position requires an individual with strong accounting skills, deep knowledge of construction finance, and experience in managing multiple accounting systems such as Procore, TimberScan, Sage, and Concur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective collaboration with project managers and executives. 
\n Responsibilities Review and approve expense reports in SAP Concur. Manage manual SAP Concur and online payments.  Onboard new employees in AP, Concur, and TimberScan. Set up and manage new jobs in Procore, Sage, and UKG. Update for closed jobs. Perform AP payments by check and ACH. Enter and manage AR invoices to apply payments and book revisions timely. Monitor AP invoices for revisions and reallocations.  Distribute labor reports and AR reports to Project Managers (PM) and Executives (PX). Oversee prime contracts in ERP to export to Procore as well as contract change orders and budgets in Procore to export to ERP. Report on jobs to close and jobs closed.  Perform bank reconciliations and audit invoice lists for end-of-month reporting. Identify sales tax issues for adjustments and documentation. Track bond lists and builders' risk insurance; ensure timely communication with agents. Assist with special accounting projects, including updating the accounting manual. Troubleshoot Procore issues with Project Managers and Executives. Manage and set up routing groups and assign projects in TimberScan. Upload billings to client portals. Post daily General Ledger (GL) transactions. Perform monthly and annual roll-up of contracts and reconciliations. Manage Prepaid Expense schedule.  Generate and distribute Final Billings reports. Update and report OSHA safety stats and man-hours Train and support accounting team members.  Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience and 2+ years in the construction industry. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Procore, TimberScan, and Concur. Strong understanding of GAAP and construction-specific financial regulations. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional relationships.
