Our Global Supply Chain team drives innovation and efficiency, ensuring the seamless transition of product configurations. As aStaff Strategic Supply Chain Configuration Planner, you'll play a critical role in managing product design changes, phase-in/phase-out processes, and component lifecycle management. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cutting-edge medical devices are produced on time, with quality, and at scale. Where you come in:
Product Configuration Management:You manage product revisions, coordinating part number revision changes and phase-in/phase-out of BOM components.
Strategic Planning:You drive strategic decisions for sourcing, production schedules, and production ramp, ensuring synchronization across all supply chain nodes.
Manufacturing Cutover Planning:You develop manufacturing cutover plans, ensuring smooth transitions from old to new configurations with minimal disruption.
Change Management:You lead supply chain efforts in product design changes, discontinuations, and phase-in/phase-out transitions, continuously improving processes.
Risk Mitigation:You identify and mitigate risks across the global supply chain to ensure capacity, material availability, and on-time delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:You collaborate with supply planners, project leaders, engineering, and external manufacturing partners to align timelines and meet objectives.
Inventory & Supplier Coordination:You analyze future inventory needs and work closely with procurement and sourcing to ensure component availability.
BOM & Data Management:You work with supply planning and master data teams to ensure accurate BOMs and integration into MRP/ERP systems.
What makes you successful:
Cross-Functional Communication:You align with multiple teams (Supply Planning, Production, Procurement, etc.) to ensure changes are efficiently implemented.
BOM & Product Revision Expertise:Your strong understanding of BOM structures and revision processes allows you to manage complex transitions.
ERP & PLM Systems Proficiency:You are experienced with ERP and PLM systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
Analytical Skills:You possess strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency to query and interpret data for decision-making.
Risk Management:You proactively manage risks, offering solutions to prevent disruptions.
Regulatory Knowledge:You understand medical device regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in configuration changes.
Lean & Process Improvement:Knowledge of Lean material flow and Process Excellence is a plus.
Collaborative Leadership:Your ability to work across a global, matrixed organization ensures seamless execution.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related industry experience.
Flex Workplace:Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
