Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We're currently recruiting students for our Summer 2025 Strategic Student Program. Our intern positions will allow you to find a career path that most inspires you. Baseline Program Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
Available to commit full-time from May 2025 - August 2025
Graduating no earlier than December 2025

Cybersecurity Engineer Intern
Technology & Innovation Team (T&I)
Our cybersecurity team is at the forefront of protecting our digital assets, intellectual property and ensuring the safety of our products and information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents.
Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Help in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
Participate in security awareness training and education programs.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
Document security incidents and prepare reports for management.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Familiarity with concepts such as threat detection, attack surface reduction and secure development
Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Knowledge of network protocols and services.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, large language models, and automation.
