Key ResponsibilitiesAs an associate you'll work on a variety of client-facing projects, helping answer strategic questions by developing analyses, tools, etc. The type of work will vary significantly depending on the project, however, the following is a non-exhaustive set of example core responsibilities:
At the start of projects, supporting the development of hypotheses for "the answer" and defining tests to validate or disprove these. Acting as a business partner to senior colleagues as well as clients, to advise on strategic decisions. Collaborating with client teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, which can include helping ensure access to data, setting up collaboration processes, etc. As well as client-facing work, you'll also support on internal IP development; helping develop methodologies, define our service portfolio, etc.
Core SkillsetAs this role is an entry-level role, we are not looking for any particular experience set. However, we believe a successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Exceptional business acumen and "commercial knack": Having a good sense for where opportunities for growth and optimisation exist within a business, being able to relate technical aspects into their business impact, etc. Strong analytical profile: An ability to dissect business problems through analysis end-to-end, i.e. to define an approach, execute it, and critically analyse its results. A general ability to work with numbers and data. Collaboration and team work: An ability to work in small, fast-paced teams – being able to understand one's role within the project structure, deliver against it, and be flexible when needed. An entrepreneurial mindset: DVS is a start-up and as such is suited to someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. This means having the ability to be flexible, proactive, and to get things done – even if these are not things you have done before, or even know how to! Working Arrangement Hybrid model, c.3 office days/week and four weeks remote working allowance pa remuneration. The associate role offers a highly competitive salary, and opportunity for future equity in the business depending on progression.
