Structural Steel Estimator

Job Title: Structural Steel Fabrication Estimator
Responsibilities:
* Estimate costs for structural steel fabrication projects accurately and efficiently.
* Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements.
* Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment costs based on project scope and complexity.
* Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for submission to clients.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
* Experience in estimating structural steel fabrication projects. (Minimum 5+ years)
* Proficiency with Tekla EPM/Fabtrol/Fabsuite preferred
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
