Position Summary: The Asphalt Paving Project Manager Intern will play a critical role in supporting and learning from our experienced project management team. Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of asphalt paving projects under the guidance of foremen and project managers. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report project data to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Quality Control: Learn and participate in quality control measures to ensure projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations. Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites. Stakeholder Communication: Assist in maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met. Resource Management: Help manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to ensure efficient project execution. Documentation: Prepare project reports, document project progress, and maintain accurate project records. Problem Solving: Contribute to creative problem-solving efforts to address project challenges and setbacks. Training and Learning: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to asphalt paving and construction management.
