Annual Salary Range – $75,000 - $95,000
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range DSM expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.
Salary MIN – MID
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating all maintenance, facility work and repairs of manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations activities during a 5-day, 24-hour shift. This is for our Human Nutrition and Health division where we produce liquids and dry blends for our dietary supplements and food. In addition, the Supervisor oversees and manages the maintenance technicians and planner.This role involves coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, and dsm-firmenich's Life Saving Rules (LSRs). The Supervisor will collaborate on safe work permits, weekly maintenance schedule and review of scope of work with department leads as well as the safety department.Effective communication is essential to this role, as the Supervisor must convey information clearly and precisely while interacting with multiple departments and site leadership.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years' experience in maintenance planning and 15 years as a craft laborer. This person also has the ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously, strong mentoring skills and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate theactivities of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibility will be to mentor and coach the maintenance team.
Help the team grow in their roles by scheduling training session on topics related to repairs completed on site.
Collaborate withMaintenance Planner on spare part inventory, weekly maintenance schedule, maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate with the Maintenance Manager and Production team on status of repairs, preventative maintenance, and contractor's work.
Attend daily meeting reporting out the status of work occurring throughout the site.
Collaborate withMaintenance Planner, on spare part inventory, weekly maintenance schedule, maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)and communicated with the Maintenance Manager and Production team on status of repairs, preventative maintenance, and contractor's work.
Attend daily meeting reporting out the status of work occurring throughout the site.
Manage the existing preventative maintenance program and identify area in which improvements could improve efficiency.
Participate in capital expenditures review meeting, to determine labor hours and costs. Will be Maintenance Manager delegate when Manager is not available or on off site.

You Bring:
High school graduate, or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or relevant certifications (e.g., license in crafts) is a plus.
Two-year trade schoolwith 15 years' experience.
Proven 10 years' experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge and computer skills (Microsoft 365).
Familiar with CMMS software (i.e., Fiix, Maximo).
Experience with planning and scheduling of work tasks.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Role model and mentor to maintenance team members
Ability to be agile in a fast-paced work environment.
