Ashland Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Business Unit Supply Chain Lead to join our Ashland LLC Specialty Additives business at our Wilmington, DE or Bridgewater, NJ facilities.
This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Supply Chain function.
This position will report to the VP of Global Supply Chain.
The successful employee in this role will be a very experienced supply chain professional, capable of understanding and managing all aspects of supply chain.
He or she will have outstanding analytical, communication, and strategic skills.
The role will be a "hybrid" position.
The BU Supply Chain Leader will work from home but will be located in a geographical area close to Wilmington, DE or Bridgewater, NJ. Responsibilities: Serve as a member of Business Unit (BU) and Supply Chain Leadership Teams. Responsible for defining BU supply chain strategy, in collaboration with VP, Global Supply Chain and BU General Manager. Responsible for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), including BU Demand Planning and Supply Planning. Gather and report results for KPIs, identifying and executing corrective actions. Responsible for Selling General & Administrative (SG&A) and operational expense, as well as working capital via inventory investment. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree is required. 10 -15 years experience in S&OP, Sales, Marketing, Materials Management, and/or Operations. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse, multi-geographical team. Ability to travel as needed both internationally and domestically. Preferred Skills: Master's degree or above. APICS certification is highly preferred. CSCP or CPIM certification. In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
