Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist
Job Description
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, distributors, and transportation providers to ensure the smooth flow of goods from point of origin to destination. Select and coordinate exports and imports to schedule pickups and deliveries while optimizing cost and delivery times. Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Prepare shipping documents, customs documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. Analyze and characterize department performance within the inbound and outbound logistics processes, including evaluating logistics costs to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to improve the company's bottom line. Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Responsible for auditing and approving freight invoices from service providers and resolving invoice discrepancies as needed. Assist/participate in creation of key processes, flow diagrams, and work instructions.
