Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 or 2to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Palmdale, CA. 2nd shift, 4/10s schedule Monday - Thursday from 4:12pm - 2:42am PT. Position is onsite, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule. Essential Functions: Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand
Works closely with the Integration team and shop floor.
Delivers kits and chemicals and verifies quantities and part numbers.
Wraps and packs kits to send to on and offsite locations.
Basic Qualifications (Level 1): High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 years of additional education and/or experience.
Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Valid driver's license, or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work 2nd shift from 4:12pm - 2:42am PT.
Basic Qualifications (Level 2): High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of additional education and/or experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control.
Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Valid driver's license, or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work 2nd shift from 4:12pm - 2:42am PT.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack.
Prior experience using SAP/ MES.
Hazmat or chemical handling experience.
Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Salary Range: $36,600 - $61,000
Salary Range 2: $43,600 - $72,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
