**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a resourceful and energetic Support Specialist to join our remote customer support team at Instacart. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance with various issues, all with the aim of delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Support:**
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via chat, email, and social media.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to orders, payments, and deliveries.
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance to customers through their Instacart shopping journey.

- **Research Assistance:**
- Conduct thorough research to address complex customer inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information.
- Stay up-to-date on Instacart policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively assist customers.

- **Project Management:**
- Assist in maintaining and updating support documentation, FAQs, and resource materials for customers and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience.

- **Team Collaboration:**
- Build strong connections with colleagues, fostering a positive remote working environment.
- Actively participate in team discussions and share insights or suggestions to improve service efficiency.

- **Post-Contact Support:**
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues were satisfactorily resolved and they are satisfied with their experience.
- Gather feedback and insights from customers to relay to management for continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

- **Education & Experience:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or training is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applications, including experience with chat systems and CRM tools preferred.
- Strong internet research skills to facilitate customer inquiries effectively.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Resourceful: Able to think on your feet and solve problems creatively.
- Energetic: Committed to providing excellent service and creating a positive environment.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
