Our autonomy stack, OverDrive, is defining the state-of-the-art for perception, planning, and control of uncrewed vehicles, enabling them to traverse and operate in any terrain, regardless of roads, in any condition. OverDrive was purpose-built for the warfighter. Through our work with DARPA and the U.S. Army, we are developing the intelligent capabilities necessary to power modern ground operations, now and for decades to come.
In a little over a year, the company has been selected for or awarded eight-figures of OTAs and other contracts across multiple services and DoD customers. We have raised over $10M in funding, led by a top multi-billion dollar AUM defense tech investor.
We are looking for experts in systems administration and security management to support our autonomy development.
In this role, you will:Manage on-premise compute, cloud infrastructure, and a fleet of robotic vehicles.Be responsible for security including user management and compliance audits.Collaborate closely with a team of multi-disciplinary experts to help continuously improve and deploy off-road autonomy.QualificationsStrong technical background: 4+ years industry experience in production systems. You have extensive experience managing networks and Linux workstations/servers. Ideally, you have worked with autonomy development teams before and have experience with DOD security controls such as NIST-800-171 or CMMC.Grit: You excel in a small-team atmosphere, taking ownership of problems and working with your colleagues to solve problems across disciplines.Field-test forward: At Overland AI, infrastructure doesn't end in the server room.
